From Fulmer maybe...but Lane Kiffin?? That's a joke. The only success he's ever had was at a job where he didn't have the final say on anything..and that would be suggesting plays to Pete Carrol at USC. If it wasn't for his daddy calling his D this year, UT only wins 4 or 5 games. I RESPECT Monte Kiffin and his ability, but peckerhead Lane wouldn't even be where he is if he didn't ride daddy's coat tails. Eventually it'll be apparent. If USC wanted a REAL coach, they'd have tried harder to get Steve Sarkasian. I just hope Gruden doesn't take the UT job cuz I don't want a reason to like anything at UT...and I like Gruden. Glad Muschamp turned it down as well, cuz that's another coach I like. IMO, if UT wants what's best for UT, they hire Cutcliffe...and install Fulmer as AD...cuz really I don't think anyone bleeds Orange anymore than Fulmer. He's another one I liked and kinda thought got a raw deal. He should have had his say in when he left after all his success. The closest comparison I can make is HS coaches like Phil Robbins, Tom Turner, and Ralph Cummins....once you accomplish great things, you should be the one in control of your own destiny...not some hot shot AD who's never proven a thing.
